"Kabira garv na kijiye, kabahu na hasiye koye... ajeyi naav samudra mein, ka jaane ka hoye...."
Explanation: Kabir says, never be proud of yourself...dont let ego overtake you...never make fun of anybody or laugh on anyone...the boat of our life is still midst of sea...who knows what will happen in future...!
"Karta tha to kyun raha, ab kari kyun pachhtaye, boye per babool ka, amua kahan se paye...."
Explanation: Kabir says, when you were doing bad deeds, why you commited them...? Now what are you having regret of.....when you planted a tree of babool, how can you expect it to grow mangoes....
"Kabir so dhan sanchiye, jo aage ko hoye, sheesh chadaye paar le, jaat na dekheya koi..."
Explanation: Kabir says, we should save that money, which we can take with us to God(That money is Naam of God), only this money will count there, nobody will ask you your caste....

paththar pooje hari mile, to main poojun pahad
isse to chakki bhali pees khaye sansar
means : if we get can get God by worshiping stone then rather I will worship mountain. Chakki is better than this stone that people grind wheat to get floor out of it to eat.


kankar pathad jodi ke masjid leyi banaye,
ta chadhi mulla baang de kya bahra hua khudaye
means : muslims make tall masjid and then go on top of it to shout for allah, do they think that allah is deaf ?


Chalti Chakki Dekh Kar, Diya Kabira Roye
Dui Paatan Ke Beech Mein,Sabit Bacha Na Koye
Meaning:
Looking at the grinding stones, Kabir laments
In the duel of wheels, nothing stays intact.


Mangan Maran Saman Hai, Mat Koi Mange Beekh
Mangan Se Marna Bhala, Yeh Satguru Ki Seekh
Translation:
Begging is like perishing, none should go imploring
It is better to die than beg, this is pure Guru's teaching



Dukh Mein Simran Sab Kare, Sukh Mein Kare Na Koye
Jo Sukh Mein Simran Kare, Tau Dukh Kahe Ko Hoye
Translation
In anguish everyone prays to Him, in joy does none
To One who prays in happiness, how sorrow can come



Dheere Dheere Re Mana, Dheere Sub Kutch Hoye
Mali Seenche So Ghara, Ritu Aaye Phal Hoye
meaning is
Slowly slowly O heart, everything happens at its own pace
the gardener may pour a hundred buckets, but the fruit arrives only in its season



Kabeer khoob khana khichri, ja me amrit lon
Hera roti kaarne, Gala katave kaun
Kabeer, I would rather eat khichri(prepared with pulses and dal) which has salt in it. I would not prefer to have my throat cut by eating meat


Kabira jab hum paida huye jag hansa,hum roye
aise karni kar chalo,hum hanse jag roye
translation
when child take birth he start weeping, after seeing this people laughs on activities of child. Kabir das is stressing on such work,
after leaving world everyone sholud weep,but person should laugh.


बुरा जो देखन मैं चला, बुरा ना मिलया कोई !
मन जो जांचा आपना मुझ से बुरा ना कोई !!
कबीरा !! मुझ से बुरा ना कोई!!


Guru Gobind dono khade, kako lagu pai, Balihari gurudev ki, Govind diyo bataye !
It means:
If Guru and God both stand in front of you, bow to guru first as he is the person who reaches you till God, God says so.


Kabir kasauti Raam ki, jhootha tike na koye,
Raam kasauti so sahe, jo marjeeva hoye,
only those who are 'marjeeva'= 'born after death' or 'come to life after death' ='been to the state of nirvikalpa samadhi when breath stops indefinetly' can be stay at rams 'kasauti'='Kuthastha'. people who are not established in truth yet may see it (in meditation) but will not be able to 'tika'='stay' there


Aisi vani boliye, man kaa aapaa khoye
auran ko sheetal kare, aapahu sheeta hoe...Kabira aapahu sheetal hoe
speak every single word with total compassion and love so that you yourself are lost in a beautiful word full of unconditional love...
such a language would shower an eternal bliss of love & peace on you and the entire humanity....
